Welcome to the Compound Semiconductor Devices Workshop!The organisers and hosts warmly welcome you to the 31th Workshop on Compound Semiconductor Devices and Integrated Circuits, WOCSDICE, in Venice, Italy.
The symposium is organised by Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova, Italy, with the aim of bringing together scientists and engineers working in the area of III-V compound semiconductor devices and integrated circuits for microwave, mm-wave, and optoelectronic applications.
Both, invited papers and short submitted papers will be presented during the three day meeting, detailing latest results on electronic, optoelectronic, and integrated devices. The idea is to address new results in short presentations to initiate an intensive and fruitful discussion of the relevant topics. Despite of the European character of the workshop series, interested people from all over the world are invited to attend.
Researchers in academia are expected to join the workshop, but also scientists in small start-up companies and from major industries might be interested in participating. Traditionally having participants from almost 20 countries is evidence that WOCSDICE is a forum for regular European meetings bringing together the leading experts from all over the world. The invited talks will be given by world leading scientists. We have invited distinguished scientists to make presentations at the symposium.

WOGATE (Workshop on the GaN Advancement Technology in Europe)
This workshop is organized in order to make a point on the development of the advancement of the GaN Technology in Europe. The main European Industry and institutions working on these topics have been invited to participate (In case you will not find key Industry or Institution in the programme, please advice the WOCSDICE organizer).
