ARRIVING IN VENICE BY PLANE (see next pages for maps and time tables) 1) From Marco Polo Airport it is possible to arrive at “Zattere” stop (about 100 meters from the conference center) by choosing Alilaguna boat (Red Line, the cost is 12 EURO and it takes 80 min). From the Zattere stop, go on your right, and then turn on your left soon after the great Church of Gesuati, the entrance is at number 909/A behind the same Church. 2a) From Marco Polo Airport you can also first reach “Piazzale Roma” by taking either ACTV bus, number 5 (2 Euro, 25 min), or ATVO bus line 35 (3 Euro, 20 min). From “Piazzale Roma” you can choose the boats number 51 or 61 that in two or three stops go along Giudecca Canal arrive to “Zattere”, then do as above. 2b) ALTERNATIVELY, from “Piazzale Roma” it is also possible to choose a more tourist way along Canal Grande: boat number 1 or 82 (direction Vallaresso). Stop at “Accademia”. On your left follow “Rio Terrà Foscarini” street: you will find us after 200 metres on your right, opposite Sant’Agnese Church. Hotel Belle Arti and Domus Cavanis are very close to the conference center, see map. If you are located at Domus CILIOTA, please see instruction on Page 7. 4 How to reach the CONF. ARRIVING IN VENICE BY PLANE (see next pages for maps and time tables) Another possibility to reach Hotels and Conference Center from Venice airport is with TAXI-boat. This way is obviously the faster, however be aware that the price can be very high (90 Euro up to 4 people). If you are in 4 people the cost is 90 Euro, so if you share the fare, the cost is quite reasonable. We advice to discuss with the driver prior to take any Taxi-boat in Venice. See http://www.motoscafivenezia.it/company.htm for advance reservation. You have to buy tickets for the ALILAGUNA, ACTV and ATVO stand in the arrivals lounge from 8.00 to 24.00 (only for ATVO you can also buy the tickets on board). A BOOTH for the Taxi reservation and ticket purchase (it is recommended that you reserve and pay here the boat-taxi) is also present in the arrivals lounge. The Bus stop for ACTV and ATVO are just outside the arrival Lounge. The landing stages or mini docks for both Alilaguna and TAXI-boat are located 500m far from the arrival lounge. When you exit the arrival lounge, turn on your left and follow the signs.

FINALLY you can also take a Car taxis: it takes 15 minutes to get to Piazzale Roma Once you reach Piazzale Roma follow instructions on previous page.
