The most frequent food that is present on the table of a Venetian restaurant is fish. Even if a varied diet will be organized, fish will often be present. Of course the quality of the fish, freshly taken every day at the market, is very good. Please indicate if you have specific requests on food (i.e. if you are Vegetarian, or if you do not like fish and if you prefer meat).

Internet is available at the conference site (not in the Hotel rooms). The costs will be 10 Euro/day. If you are planning to use this service, please take with you a photocopy of your identity card (or any valid document). The Code for the internet connection at the conference site will be available at the registration desk

We are planning to organize a Nocturne Visit to the “Scuola Grande di San Rocco” on Monday May 21, after dinner (20:30 – 22:30). This School was built in the 1515 following the project of Bon and Scarpagnino, and soon became famous because of the Tintoretto's paintings that remained here for more than twenty years and that represented the masterpieces of Venetian painting between the Renaissance and Mannerism. Besides, here are kept works by Giorgione, Tiziano e Tiepolo.

Intention of the accompanying person to join the ACCOMPANYING PERSONS TOURS (please read the programme, Please note that unless you are used to walking several hours a day, it is not recommended to participate to both Tour 1 and 2 on the same day, it can be very strenuous as most of the itineraries are done walking up and down Venice bridges)

Please note that The accompanying person Fee (150 Euro) include: Welcome dinner (Sunday evening May 20), visit to Scuola Grande di San Rocco, Conference Excursion and Gala Dinner on May 22. Lunches are not included, however on request, lunch tickets can be purchased (at least one day in advance) at the registration desk (cost will be 20-25 Euro each ticket).
